Treatment Introduction
Mint Thread Lifting
Precautions
  • From the day after the procedure, washing your face, applying makeup, and showering are allowed. (Avoid shampooing on the day of the procedure.)

  • For one week after the procedure, avoid alcohol, smoking, saunas, strenuous exercise, and hot baths.

  • Apply ice packs for about 3 days after the procedure.

  • Swelling, bruising, and pain may last as short as 3 days or, in rare cases, up to 4 weeks. (The most noticeable effects usually occur around days 3–4.)

  • Since the threads lift the tissue strand by strand, dimpling (small indentations resembling dimples) may appear in treated areas, but most of these resolve within 1–2 weeks.

  • Avoid rubbing or applying pressure to the areas where threads were inserted. Also, avoid opening your mouth widely for one month. (Lymphatic or facial massage can be resumed after 3 months.)
